


Mount Barker Care Home occupies a splendid Victorian house and has been completely refurbished specifically to cater for the needs of our residents and sits gracefully in its own secluded gardens.
This property comprises of a large entrance hall, dining room, day room, tv lounge and en-suite bedrooms some with stunning views.
Activities and social events are encouraged - listening to the radio, watching television, walking in the town and games. A personal carer is always on hand and the mini bus is used for days out and shopping trips. Specially invited speakers and musicians often provide entertainment for the residents.
A local hairdresser visits weekly and appointments can be made to see the dentist, chiropodist or optician.
Grantown-on-Spey is a traditional Highland town on the River Spey on the northern edge of the Cairngorms National Park. It is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty with marked woodland walks for all ages and abilities. It has many historic buildings, a tree lined Square and striking Georgian and Victorian architecture.
