Welcome to SPEYSIDE
Speyside Care Home occupies a modern building designed specifically to cater for the needs of our residents and stands in its own landscaped gardens a short walk from Aberlour town centre.
This purpose built building comprises of a large seated entrance hall, dining room, day room/tv lounge, apartments and en-suite bedrooms.
Activities and social events are encouraged - listening to the radio, watching television, walking in the garden and games. A personal carer is always on hand and the mini bus is used for days out and shopping trips. Specially invited speakers and musicians often provide entertainment for the residents.
A local hairdresser visits weekly and appointments can be made to see the dentist, chiropodist or optician.
ABERLOUR
Aberlour is in the heart of Speyside, at the confluence of the rivers Lour and Spey. It is a haven for fishermen who come to fish for that elusive salmon. Walkers, the most famous shortbread making family in the world produce their shortbread here and visitors come in their thousands to pay homage to the many distilleries in and around the area.
