Parklands Care Homes is in the running for four national care home awards.
Parklands is a finalist in this year’s Care Home Awards, due to take place in London in September. Hosted by broadcaster Alan Dedicoat, the awards are the biggest and most prestigious in the care sector.
Parklands is a finalist in four categories. Parklands operated Innis Mhor care home in Tain has been shortlisted for the Best for Sporting, Social or Leisure Activities award, while the Parklands group is nominated for Best Response to Covid-19, Best for Communication (with residents, families, friends & carers) and Best Smaller Care Home Group (up to 25 homes).
Parklands won the latter two awards in 2020.
Managing Director Ron Taylor said: “After our success in last year’s awards, we are absolutely thrilled to be finalists again this year, in no less than four categories. This is entirely due to the hard work and dedication of our teams who have endured a difficult year with grace and humility.
“The Care Home Awards are a tremendous showcase for the care sector. It doesn’t matter who wins; the important point is that hard working individuals and teams up and down the country get the recognition they deserve.”
