MD gives keynote address to Chamber

Parklands Managing Director Ron Taylor was the guest speaker at a business breakfast organised by Inverness Chamber of Commerce today.

Mr Taylor spoke to an audience of more than 60 key business leaders from across the Highlands on Parklands' growth over the past 25 years and its ambitious plans for the future.

The company is currently building a new £5.5 million care home in Fortrose and will then begin work on a £9.5 million care hub in the Highland capital. The Inverness development will be Parklands' largest single investment, encompassing a care home, assisted living suites and a day nursery for local children.

Stewart Nicol, chief executive of Inverness Chamber of Commerce said: "As an Inverness Chamber platinum partner, we are delighted to see Parklands’ sustained growth into one of the largest independent care providers in the north of Scotland. The substantial future investment plan will also make it one of the largest private sector employers in the area and provides a major vote of confidence for Inverness and the wider Highlands."
