A Fortrose school netball team has received a cash boost from Parklands Care Homes.
Parklands, which has a care home in the village, has contributed almost £1,000 to buy 20 new strips for the team at Fortrose Academy.
Players from the team visited Eilean Dubh care home to debut their new Parklands branded kit.
Susan Ross, manager of Eilean Dubh, said: "We are delighted to be able to support the local school by providing these netball strips for the Fortrose Academy team. It’s great to see young people taking an interest in sport and we wish them the best of luck for their upcoming matches."
Calum McIntosh, PE teacher at Fortrose Academy, said: "It’s great for our players to finally have a full kit in our school colours that they are proud to wear. Special thanks should go to our volunteer parent coach, Suzy Walker, and Parklands for making this happen – it is very much appreciated."
