We are looking for a Driver who is dedicated to making every moment count, regardless of their qualifications or experience.
As a Driver, you will deliver nutritious meals to residents across our care homes within the Moray area and will play a key role in ensuring our residents receive their meals on time, directly contributing to their comfort and wellbeing. Due to the nature of this role, a valid UK driver’s license is essential and previous experience as a delivery driver or similar role; is desirable.
The Role...
- Safely transport and deliver prepared meals to various care homes within the local area.
- Liaise with the Head Cook to coordinate meal pick-up times, verify orders, and address any specific meal requirements or dietary needs.
- Follow established company guidelines to ensure quality, safety, and consistency in meal delivery.
- Ensure meals are delivered promptly and securely, maintaining required temperature and quality throughout the journey.
- Build positive, professional relationships with care home staff and residents, representing the company in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Complete daily and weekly vehicle checks, ensuring the food delivery van is clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Report any delays, vehicle issues, or incidents promptly to the relevant manager.
