As a Relief Domestic Assistant, you will need to be adaptable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the team are essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The Role...

  • Responsible for cleaning all areas of the care home in accordance with our cleaning schedules.
  • Vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and cleaning communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and specialist rooms. 
  • Sust, polish furniture, clean windows, sanitize surfaces, and refresh rooms before new residents arrive. 
  • Emptying bins, cleaning vases, moving furniture for thorough cleaning, managing cleaning supplies, and reporting faulty equipment. 
  • Adherence to Health and Safety and Infection Control policies is essential, along with completing records and attending mandatory training and staff meetings.

This is a relief role working as and when required, ideal for those who need or prefer flexible working hours.
