Bikers roll into Weston View with £300 donation

19 October 2026

Around 30 motorbikes arrived at Weston View care home in Keith on Sunday as members of a local biking group visited residents and presented a £300 donation to the home.

Members of On Any Sunday Run brought their bikes along for a visit with a particular connection for one resident, who was a keen biker.

The group was founded during the Covid pandemic in 2021 by father and son Dave and David Christie to support mental wellbeing and encourage social connections among local bikers.

It now has nearly 900 bike enthusiasts, with members meeting on Sundays to enjoy a ride together.

Alongside their regular outings, members have raised money for good causes including the local food bank, Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance, Voices for Veterans and Feeling Blue.

Leanne Stephen, manager of Weston View, said: “It was quite a sight to see around 30 motorbikes arriving at the home. We’re very grateful to everyone at On Any Sunday Run for taking the time to visit and for their generous £300 donation. Bringing people together is at the heart of what they do, and it was lovely to share that spirit with our residents.”
