Eilean Dubh’s team takes time to get to know residents and provide care at their own pace. The Care Inspectorate found consistently positive relationships between residents and staff, with people treated with compassion, dignity and respect.

Residents and families said they felt confident in the care provided, with relatives describing their loved ones as safe, valued and well cared for.

About Fortrose

The coastal town of Fortrose is the largest on the Black Isle - not an island, but a peninsula - and a busy administrative and commercial centre. It is also a popular tourist destination, attracting walkers, golfers and dolphin watchers. Chanonry Point offers outstanding views of Fort George and the Moray Firth, home to hundreds of bottlenose dolphins. Famous landmarks include the town's 13th century Cathedral and the Brahan Seer monument in tribute to the 17th century Highland prophet.
