Wakefield House is a welcoming care home in the picturesque coastal town of Cullen, providing high-quality residential care for up to 30 residents in comfortable en-suite bedrooms.

Dating from the mid-19th century, the home combines period character with modern facilities, including bright lounges, a spacious dining room, a conservatory and a beautifully landscaped secure garden.

Our experienced team take time to get to know residents and understand what matters to them. The Care Inspectorate found that staff were attentive and accessible, with positive, trusting relationships between residents and colleagues.

Residents praised staff for their kindness, care and humour, while relatives said colleagues knew their loved ones well and provided person-centred support.

Cullen is perhaps best known for its world famous Cullen Skink. The picturesque village offers commanding views over Cullen Bay and the Moray Firth. The 19th Century Cullen Viaduct provides an imposing backdrop for the village and there are many popular walks along the beautiful coastline. The nearby Bow Fiddle Rock is a must-see for any visitor and the seafront at Cullen is ideal for dolphin watching.
