The home has 40 en-suite bedrooms across four wings, each with its own lounge and dining room. Lynemore also has a dedicated activities room, hair salon and café, where residents can relax with family and friends.
Lynemore is rated Grade 5 (Very Good) by the Care Inspectorate for supporting residents’ wellbeing.

Lynemore offers spacious, comfortable en-suite bedrooms and a contemporary Highland feel throughout, with plenty of space for residents to relax with friends and family.
The home has its own café bar, dedicated activities room and attractive courtyard gardens, providing welcoming spaces to socialise and enjoy time outdoors. Residents can also enjoy the outdoor gym, putting area and a varied programme of activities and regular trips to local shops, cafés and attractions.
Kind, respectful care
Lynemore’s team takes time to get to know residents and provide care at their own pace. The Care Inspectorate found consistently positive relationships between residents and staff, with people treated with compassion, dignity and respect.
The nursing and care team was described as skilled and knowledgeable, while families said they trusted staff and felt their loved ones were safe, valued and well cared for.

Meet our Manager: Pamela Cummings
Pamela brings extensive experience in health and social care, having previously worked as a staff nurse, deputy manager and care home manager in central Scotland. She became Manager of Lynemore in 2024, fulfilling a long-held ambition to live and work in Strathspey, an area she had grown to love through family holidays. Pamela is committed to maintaining high standards of care and building strong links with the local community.

The capital of Strathspey, Grantown is an attractive tourist town and an ideal location from which to explore the majestic Cairngorms National Park. Fishing, golf and whisky enthusiasts are well catered for, and the nearby CairnGorm Mountain and Highland Wildlife Park are popular visitor attractions.
