Parklands offers new social care apprenticeships in the Highlands

28 October 2026

Parklands Care Homes is offering three new Social Care Apprenticeships in the Highlands, giving people the opportunity to earn while they learn and take their first steps towards a career in care.

The opportunities are available at Urray House in Muir of Ord, Innis Mhor in Tain and Eilean Dubh in Fortrose, with successful applicants starting in January 2027.

Apprentices will gain practical experience alongside established care teams while working towards a recognised social care qualification. No previous experience is required, with applications welcomed from school leavers, people returning to work and those considering a career change.

Jaime McNab, Training and Development Lead at Parklands Care Homes, said: “A Social Care Apprenticeship is a great way to start a career in care, so we're delighted to support this initiative. At Parklands, many of our young carers have gone on to build successful careers with us, progressing into roles as shift leaders, nurses and care home managers. We hope these opportunities will encourage more young people to consider a rewarding career in care.”

Applications are open until 11 November 2026.
